An Act to amend the Crown Law Office Act 1980

(19 August 1987

1. Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Crown Law Office Amendment Act 1987 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Crown Law Office Act 1980 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Attorney General

Subsection (1) of section 4 of the principal Act is repealed and the following substituted therefor:

"(1) The Prime Minister may from time to time appoint a person who shall be a member of Cabinet to the office of Attorney General."

This Act is administered by the Crown Law Office.
