An Act to amend the Decimal Currency Act 1964
(6 April 1982
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
(1) This Act may be cited as the Decimal Currency Amendment Act 1981-82 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Decimal Currency Act 1964 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Act").
(2) This Act shall come into force on the date it is assented to by the High Commissioner.
The Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by:
Inserting in the column headed "Standard Composition" after the words "Silver and Cupro-nickel" and corresponding to the words "Fifty Dollars" in the column headed "Denomination of Coin" the words, "or gold, silver, copper and zinc".
This Act is administered in the Treasury Department.
