IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
PURSUANT to Sections 7 and 9 of the Customs Tariff Act 1980, His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order:

2. Inclusion and Implementation of Pacific Island Countries Trade Agreement

ORDER
1. Title - This Order may be cited as the Customs Tariff (Pacific Island Countries Trade Agreement) Amendment Order 2006, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Customs Tariff Amendment Order 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Order").
2. Inclusion and implementation of Pacific Island Countries Trade Agreement - Schedule 1, Chapters 1 to 98, section I - XXI of the principal Order is hereby amended by including the Pacific Island Countries Trade Agreement ("PICTA") tariff rates as set out in the Schedule attached hereto.

SCHEDULE
Ad Valorem tariffs on goods originating in a Party to PICTA which are imported into Small Island States and Least Developed Countries shall be reduced and eliminated according to the following timetable:
A. MAXIMUM TARIFF GOODS FROM:
Base Tariff on Goods on the Entry into force of this Agreement | 1/1/2005 | 1/1/2007 | 1/1/2009 | 1/1/2011 | 1/1/2013 |
More than 25% | 25% | 17.5% | 10% | 5% | 0% |
More than 20% but no more than 25% | 20% | 15% | 10% | 5% | 0% |

More than 10% but more than 15% | 10% | 5% | 0% | | |
Not more than 10% | 5% | 0% | | | |
Specific Tariffs and fixed tariffs on originating goods which are imported into Small Island States and Least Developed Countries shall be reduced and eliminated according to the following timetable:
