ORDER IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

HIS EXCELLENCY THE QUEEN'S REPRESENTATIVE IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

PURSUANT to Section 4(2) of the Departure Tax Act 2005, His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order:

2. Persons exempted

ORDER

1. Title - This Order may be cited as the Departure Tax Order 2007 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Departure Tax Act 2005 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Persons exempted - The Second Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by adding to the list of persons exempted the following:

"The air crew of any aircraft servicing the Cook Islands, unless such persons remain in the Cook Islands for a period of 72 hours or more".
