ORDER

Having heard Mr Beniata of counsel for the applicant and Ms Beiatau of counsel for the respondent and reading the papers, the Court grants the application.

The sentence of $500.00 fine to remain in force but the six (6) months' imprisonment sentence is quashed.

The applicant will still have to pay the $500.00 fine imposed by the Magistrates' Court, but will do so at $10.00 per month starting at the end of this month. The applicant will pay off the whole amount remaining when she receives her land rent payment in early next year.
