AN ACT
To make provision for the withdrawal of funds from the Treasury Fund for the provision of a subvention to the Nauru Island Council
(Certified: 19/9/92)
enacted by the Parliament of Nauru as follows:
SHORT TITLE
1. This Act may be cited as the Nauru Island Council Subvention Act 1992.
SUBVENTION
2. (1) The amount of Five Hundred & Twenty One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($521,900) is, in accordance with section 84(1) of the Nauru Island Council Act, hereby granted by way of subvention to the Nauru Island Council as authorised in the Schedule to this Act.
(2) The amount provided by subsection (1) shall be withdrawn from the Treasury Fund and paid to the District Fund and the Treasury Fund is charged accordingly.
(3) The amount provided by subsection (1) may be withdrawn in such amounts and at such times before 31 December 1992 as the Minister For Finance shall approve.
