1. This Act may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Act 2009, and commences on the date it is published in the Gazette.

2. The principal Act is amended by amending the respective sections set out in column 1 of the Schedule by deleting the corresponding matters under column 2 and substituting the corresponding matters in column 3.
