Public Prosecutor v Thomas [1913] VUNHJC 35; Criminal 199 (22 July 1913)

Case No 199

This twenty second day of July one thousand nine hundred and thirteen in the matter of a charge against Arthur Samuel Thomas and Theo Thomas.

The above named Arthur Samuel Thomas and Theo Thomas stand convicted before the Joint Court of having in October 1911 employed Charlie Ravi and other natives without restriction for a period of more than three months.

THEREUPON the Joint Court sentences the said Arthur Samuel Thomas and Theo Thomas for their said offence to pay a penalty of one pound (£1) and the costs of these proceedings.

Costs of the native witnesses at the charge of the Condominium.
