THE JOINT COURT OF THE NEW HEBRIDES.

CRIMINAL CASE

THIS NINETEENTH day of SEPTEMBER, ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND TWENTYTHREE. IN the matter of a charge against ASEPELE, LOLORAVE, ALO, LEPVELE, TAVONI, RONOVURO, Natives of Santo NEW HEBRIDES. The above named stand convicted before the JOINT COURT for that on or about the TWENTY FOURTH day of JULY 1923 they wilfully murdered REGINALD OSWALD DEAN CLAPCOTT a British subject residing at SANTO NEW. HEBRIDES.

Thereupon the JOINT COURT sentences the said ASEPELE, LOLORAVE, ALO, LEPVELE, TAVONI & RONOVURO for their said offence, to death by hanging.

The said persons are also sentenced to pay the costs of the prosecution
