HAM CHONG
This 22nd day of April 1927.
In the matter of a charge against HAM CHONG a Chinese, British Ressortissant of Vila, New Hebrides.
The above named HAM CHONG stands convicted before the Joint Court for that he did on the 10th day of April 1927 at Vila aforesaid, supply alcoholic liquor, to wit, one bottle of wine to a native CHARLIE contrary to the provisions of Article 59 (S.S.1) of the Anglo-French Convention of 1914.
In view of the accused having been recently convicted of a similar offence, and in view of the grave circumstances connected with the present offence, as described in the evidence, to wit an attempt to corrupt the Commandant of the British Section of the Constabulary, the Joint Court sentences the said HAM CHONG for his said offence to pay the maximum fine of francs 500, and four days imprisonment, and the costs of the prosecution
