The twenty sixth day of July one thousand nine hundred and thirty five.
Jack Sosoe, a native of the village of Lumbukuti, in the island of Tongoa, herein after called the accused, is this day charged that he on the 5th day of January 1935, at Tongoa, in the New Hebrides, did break and enter the shop of J.W. Storey, trader, of Tongoa, and stole, six packets of two flag tobacco, one chemise, one handkerchief, one packet of matches, and one towel, the property of the said J.W. Storey, in the said shop, contrary to section 26, subsection 1 of the Larceny Act,1916.
And the accused having pleaded guilty to the charge, is convicted of the offence, and is adjudged to be imprisoned in the British prison at Vila, and there kept far the space of eight months.
The sentence to run from the 7th June, 1935.
