JUDGMENT

The nineteenth day of November one thousand nine hundred and thirty five:

A judgment having been delivered by the Native Court for the District of the Southern Islands, on the 20th September 1935, whereby the Native KOIAAL of Maieldas (Island of Tanna), was sentenced to imprisonment for life for willful murder of the native woman named IOANAAN, and for attempt murder of the native CHARLEY M.RO.

In conformity with the provisions of Article 8, paragraph 12 of the Anglo-French Convention of the 6th August 1914.

We, the undersigned President and Judges of the Joint Court hereby confirm the aforementioned sentence of the Native Court for the District of Southern Islands, dated the 30th September, 1935.
