JUDGMENT

After a Preliminary Enquiry held in Luganville, Santo, the two accused were returned for trial to the Joint Court charged that they:

On the 11th day of November, 1966 at Luganville on the island of Espiritu Santo, stole two pairs of trousers the property of KIM WING.

When the case came before the Court the Public Prosecutor, Commandant Walford, told the Court that he did not propose to offer any evidence against the accused, whereupon the Court acquitted the accused of the charge.
