SENTENCE


The Accused appears in court as a result of a warrant issued for his arrest.


He is now pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis cigarettes. There is no dispute with the summary of facts. The prosecution concedes that this offence is at the lower end of the scale for offending of this type. He has no previous convictions and has pleaded guilty at the first available opportunity. He is accordingly convicted and sentenced to 100 hours of community work and 6 months supervision with 1 special condition that he undertake appropriate counseling for drug abuse.
