THE SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION (2008) ACT
NO. 13 OF 2009
An Act to provide for the appropriation of additional funds for the services of the government for the year ending on 31 December 2008, and for related purposes.
Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-
1 Amounts carried forward from 2008 to 2009 under section 37 of the Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244]
The amount of VT 2,545,956 issued from the Public Fund under section 37 of the Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244] for the year ending on 31 December 2008 is appropriated in accordance with Schedule 1.
2 Appropriation of amounts under section 39 of the Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244]
The additional amount of VT 548,396,952 issued from the Public Fund under section 39 of the Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244] for the year ending on 31 December 2008 is appropriated in accordance with Schedule 2.
3 Appropriation of additional program in 2008
An additional program in 2008 is appropriated as set out in Schedule 3.
4 Commencement
This Act is taken to have commenced on 01 January 2009.
