Robins, In re [1912] VUNHJC 41; Criminal 78 (13 September 1912)

Judgment No. 78


This thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve


In the matter of a charge against William George Robins


The above-named William George Robins stands convicted before the Joint Court for that on or about February1912 at Tongoa, New Hebrides, he did sell intoxicating liquor to with a bottle of whisky to Joe a native of the New Hebrides contrary to Article LIX of the Convention of the 20th October 1906.

Thereupon the Joint Court sentences the said William George Robins for his said offence to pay a fine of one-pound (£1) and the costs of the prosecution.

The said sum of one pound (£l) and costs are to be paid into the Condominium Treasury forthwith
