JUDGMENT


Case No 104


This eleventh day of October 1912

In the matter of a charge against Andrew Roche a British subject resident at Undine bay of having kept and employed on his plantation for the period of one year from May 1911 to May 1912 the Natives Tahara and Sara engaged to Madame Hoarau contrary to Article XLIX of the Convention.

The Joint Court having heard the evidence for the prosecution and for the defence dismisses he charge and orders the condominium to pay the costs of the prosecution and of the defence.
