Huxumah, In re [1912] VUNHJC 78; Criminal 119 (6 December 1912)

This sixth day of December one thousand nine hundred and twelve


In the matter of a charge against Huxumah or Focomah, native of India, residing at Pinalum, Malekula


The above named Huxumah or Focomah stands convicted before the Joint Court for that in or about the month of May he did sell to the natives Meltik, Tua, Meltik Vooti and Bearsi alcoholic liquor contrary to the provisions of Article LIX of the Convention.

Thereupon the Court sentences the said Huxumah or Focomah for his said offence to pay a penalty of one pound (£1) and the costs of these proceedings.
